What it does
Hurricane Electric's BGP Toolkit brings prefix, peer, exchange, DNS and routing reports together with looking-glass links.
Open the autonomous-system report and move between IPv4 or IPv6 prefixes, peers, graphs and registration views. The toolkit separates originated from announced prefixes and adds RPKI and IRR indicators, useful context when checking a route’s surrounding relationships. Its metrics explicitly describe observed peers and AS paths. Treat them as the provider’s collected routing view rather than a complete set of physical paths or all peering contracts. Whois, RDAP, exchange and looking-glass links answer related questions, with the latter serving a separate live-query workflow. Keep the resource and observation time when comparing the report with your own routing data.
Strengths
- Related routing reports in one portal
- Prefix, peer and exchange views
Watch out for
- An external routing view may differ from your network's view
