What it does

Billie provides invoice and installment payment options for business purchases, including online and telephone orders. Merchants can integrate through an application interface or payment partners such as Stripe, Adyen, Klarna, Kustom and Mollie. Buyers undergo an order check; merchant fees are separate from the buyer's payment terms.

A telephone order becomes a payment link

Create the order and link in Billie's dashboard or your enterprise system. Billie checks the buyer and authorizes the purchase before sending repayment information. This provides a route for a sales team taking orders away from a conventional online checkout.

Shipping controls the invoice workflow

The Orders view lists amounts, due dates and status. Marking an order as shipped starts the buyer's payment period and allows merchant payout. For manual shipping notification, enter the invoice and order numbers and upload a PDF invoice no larger than 2 MB.

Canceling an order before shipment in Created status has no Billie fee. After shipment, normal fees still apply. Reduce amount handles partial returns or corrections. If a buyer pays your own bank account instead of Billie's, Report a payment records that receipt so the debt can be cleared.

Buyer access and charges

The buyer portal provides invoice access without separate registration. Paying by invoice carries no ordinary buyer fee, but overdue balances can attract late fees, collection costs or default interest under the applicable purchase terms. Merchant onboarding starts with a business demo request. Request merchant pricing when discussing your integration.

Strengths

  • API version2 supports splitting one order across partial invoices
  • Order details include both payment history and reminder activity

Watch out for

  • An order must be marked shipped before payout and the buyer's payment request start
  • Canceling a shipped order does not remove normal merchant fees

Best for

  • B2B sellers managing invoice payment alongside shipping, returns and phone orders
