What it does
Bitcoin Visuals organizes public charts for Bitcoin fees, blocks, transactions, supply and Lightning activity. Each metric has its own page with a unit and data origin, and the site offers chart-data downloads plus a daily CSV file. It is useful for comparing network activity or taking a dataset into a spreadsheet without creating an account.
Pick the measure before comparing dates
The Blockchain menu distinguishes block size from block weight, transactions per second from transactions per block, and fees per transaction from fees per day. That makes it possible to choose a chart matching a specific question instead of relying on a broad network headline.
For example, Fees Per Tx (USD) reports daily median fee statistics and excludes the miner-reward transaction. The page identifies US dollars as the unit and Bitcoin Visuals' Bitcoin node as the data origin.
Bitcoin and Lightning use different datasets
The Lightning Capacity page measures the Bitcoin funding across channels, with Bitcoin and US-dollar units. It identifies an LND node as its data origin. This capacity measure is different from the number of Bitcoin transactions confirmed in blocks.
The Resources page provides a daily CSV of the website data and says each chart has a download link. Those exports suit a spreadsheet or a separate charting tool. The site also has a distinct set of charts for node bandwidth, peers, memory and the mempool, where unconfirmed transactions wait.
Strengths
- Metric pages state units and identify the data origin
- Daily CSV download for the website's data
- Separate blockchain, Lightning and node-resource chart groups
Best for
- People preparing Bitcoin network charts in spreadsheets
- Students comparing clearly defined transaction and fee measures
