What it does
Bitpanda supports crypto buying, selling and swapping within a wider account for stocks, ETFs and precious metals. Its broker and Fusion trading routes have different fees. Applicants must be at least 18, live in a supported country and hold accepted ID; Slovenia is supported.
Crypto fees depend on the asset and interface
The July 2026 cost document lists ordinary broker trading at 0.99% for Bitcoin and VSN, 0.99% for stablecoins except EURCV at 0%, 1.49% for the general crypto tier, and 2.49% for the specified smaller-capitalisation and Spotlight tier. Check the asset's assigned tier before confirming a trade.
Fusion has a separate volume-based fee table starting at 0.25%. Crypto Indices charge for their automatic transactions, and margin trading adds carrying and liquidation costs. A free Bitpanda account does not make these activities free.
Account setup and regional access
The setup sequence is registration, identity verification and funding. The Trade area then provides Buy, Sell, Swap and Savings Plan. Buying acquires an asset; a swap converts an existing holding, so inspect both sides of the quote.
Slovenia appears on the supported-country list alongside many other European countries. Eligibility also depends on the identity document's issuing country. US citizens and people located in the US cannot become users under the published eligibility rules.
Stocks, ETFs and metals use their own product terms. Crypto can lose substantial value, and a scheduled purchase or index allocation does not guarantee a return.
