What it does
Bitrise CI is the continuous integration product within Bitrise's mobile DevOps platform. Its official setup guide connects a Git repository, chooses a default branch, generates or manually selects a CI configuration, and sets build-machine and visibility options before starting a build. The platform also offers separate release-management and other products.
A first CI project begins by linking a repository and selecting the branch Bitrise should build by default. The setup flow can scan the repository to generate a starter configuration or let the user select a project type for manual setup. Build settings include a machine/stack choice and whether build logs and CI configuration are private to workspace members or public. The docs describe enabling a repository webhook for automatic runs; they note that this is not needed when using the GitHub App.
Strengths
- The documented project setup can generate an initial CI configuration from a detected project type or use manual setup.
- Build machine, stack, build visibility, and repository-trigger options are part of the documented project flow.
Best for
- Mobile application teams that want repository-linked CI setup and build-stack selection in one workflow.
- Teams that want to start with generated CI configuration and then adjust workflows for their project.
