What it does
Bitunix offers spot crypto trading and futures contracts, with market and limit orders. Its restricted-region list includes the US, Canada, France, Singapore, Malaysia and the UAE, among other locations.
Bitunix separates buying an asset in Spot from trading a futures contract. Spot purchases appear in the Spot Account; futures can magnify losses and close automatically if collateral becomes insufficient. The market overview groups popular assets, gainers and losers, but entering an order requires choosing a particular trading pair.
Check access before registration. The user agreement sets a minimum age of 18, or a higher local legal minimum. Bitunix excludes many locations, including the United States and its territories, Canada, mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Malaysia and the UAE. The restriction also covers being physically present in a prohibited jurisdiction.
The current identity-check guide directs app users to the profile icon, then their profile or username area and Identity Verification. Choose Basic Verification, enter personal details and follow the document prompts. The level overview requires government ID and a biometric selfie for Basic Verification, which enables crypto withdrawals. Advanced Verification adds proof of address. Available products and actual limits still depend on region and the account assessment.
For a spot purchase, have the pair's payment currency available in your Spot Account. Open Trade, choose Spot and select a pair such as BTC/USDT. A Market order uses available market prices; a Limit order specifies an acceptable price but may wait or remain unfilled. Check the order side, quantity, estimated value and fees before submitting. Assets, then Spot Account, shows the resulting holdings.
The published VIP 0 rates are 0.08% maker and 0.10% taker for spot, and 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker for futures. Maker orders add liquidity to the book; taker orders trade against existing liquidity. Higher tiers use trading volume or balance criteria. These trading fees do not describe every withdrawal cost or futures funding payment. Crypto prices can change sharply, and a market order can fill at a different price from the one visible before submission.
