What it does
Bitvavo offers crypto trading and scheduled purchases for residents of supported European countries, including Slovenia. Its app can repeat purchases daily, weekly, every two weeks or monthly.
Bitvavo's Recurring Buy uses money already in your euro balance. The schedule chooses a day, not an exact execution time or price: the purchase happens at a random time that day, and the quantity of crypto is determined then. A regular bank transfer can replenish the balance, but it is a separate instruction at your bank.
Access depends on residence in a supported country. Slovenia, Germany, France and the Netherlands are among the listed markets; the list should be checked rather than assuming every European country is covered. Individuals must be at least 18, and the terms exclude US persons. Identity verification involves a valid ID and a short video. Bank funding must come from a qualifying account in your own name. SEPA is the euro bank-transfer system used for this route.
In the app, open the profile icon, Activity and Recurring Buy, then Set up recurring buy. Choose the asset, frequency, start date and euro amount; review and confirm the plan. These orders are visible in the app rather than Pro Mode. To stop one, open it in Recurring Buy, use the three-dot menu and choose Cancel. If the balance is too low, that purchase is skipped and the schedule continues to its next date.
When arranging a recurring bank transfer, include the account's ten-character payment reference shown in the SEPA deposit instructions. A purchase schedule alone does not pull money from the bank.
Recurring purchases normally incur the applicable taker trading fee. At the first euro-market tier, Bitvavo lists 0.15% maker and 0.25% taker fees; USDC-market rates start at 0.05% for both. Tiers depend on qualifying volume over the preceding 30 days. A promotional free-trading allowance should not be confused with an ongoing free plan, and scheduled purchases can still lose value when crypto prices fall.
