What it does
Fusion Studio is Blackmagic's compositing application for visual effects, motion graphics and 3D or VR work.
Fusion builds a shot from processing nodes for tracking, painting, keying and motion graphics, with a 3D workspace for cameras, lights and imported objects. Lua and Python scripting can automate repeated work or connect the composition to another production tool.
Choose the installation deliberately: standalone Fusion Studio is a separate application from the Fusion page in DaVinci Resolve. Confirm which licence or activation key qualifies before installing Studio. The network-rendering section describes installing render nodes without a per-node licence fee. Check the actual application and machine requirements rather than treating their shared name as identical setup.
