What it does
Bluecoins tracks income, expenses, recurring entries and category budgets on Android and iOS. Its Android Premium tools can turn selected banking notifications or SMS into transactions without a bank login. The free app includes ads, while a one-time upgrade adds report exports and cloud synchronization.
Bluecoins offers a different automation route from a conventional bank connection. On Android, Premium can read selected banking notifications and SMS to create entries. Open Settings, Phone Notification, grant the relevant notification access and choose Push Notifications / SMS Banking. You can select the apps to watch and give each a default account and category, or restrict SMS matching to particular senders. The resulting entries still depend on what those messages contain.
The reporting workflow includes date-grouped lists, running balances, cash-flow views and budgets compared with actual spending. Transfers between your own accounts have their own transaction type, so they do not inflate expense totals.
What the upgrade changes
Bluecoins is free with ads. Android Premium is a one-time purchase that removes advertising and adds notification-based entries, cloud sync, broader report exports and future projections. Free users retain the standard filters and can export transaction and reminder lists; Premium adds exports from the other reports. PDF, CSV spreadsheet files, HTML and printing provide ways to review figures outside the app. The US iOS store separately lists Bluecoins+ at US$15.99.
For Android household sharing, open Settings, Online Sync and link the same Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive account on each device. Enable Automatically sync data or use QuickSync when you want an immediate update. Each person using a different Google Play account needs their own Premium purchase. Restoring a selected cloud backup replaces the local records, so it has a different purpose from keeping devices synchronized.
Bluecoins works offline and does not offer a separate web or desktop application. The company says finance data lives on the device and, when enabled, in the cloud account you choose.
