What it does
BlueSnap provides global and embedded merchant payments, invoice billing and integrations with ecommerce or finance systems. The platform is now presented as powered by Payroc. Businesses apply for a live merchant account and receive tailored processing terms; transaction fees are deducted when funds are paid out.
In Accounts Receivable, existing customers can be imported from a CSV through Customers, Customer Records and Actions, then Import. Map the columns, check the summary and complete the import. An accounting connection can synchronize those records instead.
Create an invoice from Invoices and New Invoice. Choose the customer, reference, dates, currency and template, then enter line items, quantities, taxes or discounts. BlueSnap's invoice-payment tools can place a payment link with the bill so collection remains connected to the customer record.
For deposits, open Settings and Payout Method in the Merchant Portal. The bank country, method, reference and minimum payout amount determine how accumulated funds are sent. Submitted changes take effect after the current payout cycle. Payout Details separates sales, refunds, chargebacks and commissions, which helps explain why the deposit differs from the total invoiced.
BlueSnap publishes tailored gateway pricing. Its payout guide describes a default daily schedule with a two-business-day delay, but the merchant contract controls the actual timing. The account's BlueSnap Agreement contains its fee table.
Every live merchant completes an application. Depending on the business and country, underwriting can request identity, bank, registration, financial or processing documents. In-person acceptance requires a local legal entity, so confirm that arrangement when adding a physical location.
Strengths
- Native connections include NetSuite, BigCommerce and Sage Intacct.
- Parent-customer relationships allow one customer to pay invoices belonging to linked child customers.
Watch out for
- Funds below the applicable minimum payout balance roll forward to a later cycle.
- Splitting payouts across countries in the same currency requires separate BlueSnap accounts.
Best for
- Businesses collecting payment against existing invoice records
- Software platforms arranging merchant payments for their customers
