What it does
Bank of Hawaii's digital dashboard brings account balances, loans and cards together. Its transaction view separates pending, posted and scheduled items and searches by description, type, amount or cheque number. EASE and Convenience Checking charge monthly fees with published waiver conditions.
A scheduled payment and a posted debit appear separately in the transaction view. Search by cheque number or amount to locate a payment, or use the description filter to find a merchant.
Mobile cheque deposits
Sign the cheque and add For BOH Mobile Deposit Only below your signature. Photograph both sides, select the receiving account, enter the amount and send it. Ordinary consumer and business customers can deposit up to US$15,000 per business day. Personal cheques must be payable solely to the customer; foreign-bank cheques and foreign currencies are excluded.
Everyday account choices
| Account | Opening deposit | Monthly fee | Ways to waive the fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| EASE | US$25 | US$3.25 | US$200 average daily ledger balance or any qualifying monthly direct deposit |
| Convenience Checking | US$25 | US$5 | US$500 average daily ledger balance or US$500 total qualifying monthly direct deposits |
A qualifying direct deposit is an electronic payment from another party, such as payroll or government benefits. EASE also waives its monthly fee for sole account holders under 18. It has no overdraft fees or cheque writing; branch service and online bill pay are included.
