What it does
Bold provides payment terminals, links, QR collection and ecommerce tools for Colombian businesses. Its point-of-sale software also manages inventory and electronic invoices. Merchant registration is required, and payment collection carries transaction charges; physical terminals are purchased separately.
In the Bold app, choose Links de pago or Cobrar, then Crear nuevo link. Enter the sale amount, any applicable tax or tip, and an optional product image and description. Enable Recibir varios pagos if several customers should use the same address. Generate it and share it through a sales conversation, social post or email.
A link can display Colombian pesos or US dollars, while the merchant receives Colombian pesos. The app shows the collection details for each link, and Bold advertises immediate credit into its own digital account. Set the permitted number of purchases to match the quantity available.
Online collection charges
These published rates apply to merchants with a Bold digital account and up to COP10 million in monthly sales:

VAT and applicable external withholdings are additional. Different account or sales-volume arrangements need their own tariff check.
Start in the app with a mobile number, email and password, then create the business profile. A counter sale can use a standalone Bold terminal or the Neo reader connected to a phone or tablet, depending on the chosen device.
