What it does
African children's storybooks created through a volunteer publishing project.
Book Dash combines a book catalogue with a model for making and distributing children's books. Creatives volunteer, while literacy and early-learning partners help books reach families. Browse the stories for a shared reading session or study the publishing model if you organise a reading project. The organisation describes its books as openly licensed; inspect the licence attached to a selected title before adapting or redistributing it.
The digital library is free to read and download. Physical distribution partnerships focus on South Africa; organisations elsewhere are directed to local-printing guidance.
