What it does
BookletCreator rearranges a PDF so its printed sheets form a booklet after folding. Mac and Windows versions are available.
Start with a finished PDF, choose page ranges and paper size, and create the booklet order. Split a long document into smaller booklets when the stack would be difficult to fold; right-to-left and back-cover options handle other layouts. Print both sides, stack in order, fold and staple. Password-protected sources need their password, and duplex printing has a back-flip setting. The free version allows up to 16 pages per booklet; a one-time lifetime key removes the page cap and includes minor updates.
Strengths
- Focuses on the page-order change needed for folded booklets.
Watch out for
- The free version is limited to booklets of up to 16 pages.
Best for
- Turning a finished PDF into a small printed booklet
