What it does
BookPlayer is an audiobook player for DRM-free files. Its official repository documents playback and library features rather than a commercial audiobook catalogue.
Import books you already have permission to use, then keep chapter and progress information with the library. A dedicated audiobook player is useful when music software treats every audio file as an unrelated track. BookPlayer does not supply the audio or remove a store’s protection.
Import routes include AirDrop, the Files app and downloads from a personal Audiobookshelf or Jellyfin server. ZIP archives can become playlists automatically. Cloud sync is a BookPlayer Pro feature, separate from basic local playback.
