What it does
BoursoBank, formerly Boursorama Banque, offers French online current accounts with mobile access, Wicount budgeting and EasyMove account switching. Its Welcome and Ultim card options can be free under their respective conditions, while Metal has a monthly charge. Applicants with foreign tax residency or non-standard documents need a separate application route.

The underlying current account has no maintenance fee. Welcome includes one foreign-currency cash withdrawal a month and Ultim includes three; the published charge beyond those allowances is 1.69%.
Documents and foreign tax residence
The normal application asks for valid European or Swiss identification, or a French residence permit. A French bank account in your name and proof of address may also be requested. BoursoBank directs applicants without the listed documents or French contact/tax details to its sales team.
Foreign tax residents may be eligible under conditions, but must contact the sales team and use the route outside the app. Wicount remains available for categorising income and spending after account opening.
