What it does
Branding with Type publishes Alberto Romanos’s retail font catalog and creates bespoke typefaces. Its permanent commercial licence covers multiple brand uses, including logos, websites, apps and motion work, for the named client.
The family pages combine live text, images, glyphs and downloadable specimens. Bw Ubica, for example, has weight and italic choices with size, leading and tracking controls. Use the PDF to check the complete character set. The FAQ cautions that the live testers omit OpenType layout features, so the browser sample alone cannot verify every substitution.
Free demos are for internal evaluation and client pitches. Choose Demo on a family page to explore that route; publishing final work, even personal work, requires a commercial licence. The demo is not a free production font.
One commercial agreement covers the listed brand uses for a one-time fee. The price follows the total employee count of the company behind the brand, rather than the number of designers installing fonts. An agency buying for a client must name that client as the licensee; contractors can use the files for that client’s work. Company growth beyond the purchased tier requires an upgrade. After payment, the confirmation screen and order email provide the files and invoice.
