Yandex's Neuroprotect page describes dangerous-site warnings, virus checks for Windows downloads and extensions, and desktop controls around payment sessions. Match each feature to the device in use. The browser agreement allows personal noncommercial use without a fee.

Optional statistics, address-bar suggestions and sync have separate data controls. The agreement says selected sync categories, including bookmarks, history and passwords, are sent until sync is disabled and stored until the user deletes them. Other technical information is described separately from the optional statistics switch. Yandex's general policy allows account-linked information to be combined across services and uses purpose- and legal-based retention; deleting local history is a different action from managing server data through Yandex ID.
