What it does

Budget Flow tracks income, expenses and category budgets on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. It offers separate budget books, offline receipt scanning and optional iCloud sync without requiring a login. The full version is available by subscription or a lifetime purchase.

A budget book can hold the shared family record while a different book covers a trip. Share only the relevant book with other people. Category budgets repeat at chosen intervals, and matching transactions are included in their totals.

Photos, locations and reminders add context to entries. A period selector carries through the application, so a monthly allocation can also be viewed over a longer period. Recurring transactions can have an end date, which helps keep a temporary instalment separate from an ongoing bill.

On first launch, the guided setup creates a budget book and introduces recurring transactions. You can keep using the app offline, or turn on iCloud synchronization for your Apple devices.

Full-version purchases

The US App Store lists these standard options for the full version:

Payment option US price

The app is free to download, with some features requiring the full version.
