What it does
Cakewalk Sonar provides MIDI editing, audio mixing, routing and tools for vocal production.
Install Sonar through Cakewalk Product Center and activate it with a BandLab account. The free core supports recording, editing, mixing, saving and exporting; BandLab Membership adds tools such as plugin oversampling and additional Arranger tracks. VocalSync and ProChannel support vocal and mix work.
Both free and paid licences require periodic activation renewal. Offline work is possible after activation, and Product Center also offers offline activation. Check the current feature comparison for the exact tier you need; Sonar’s Windows requirements differ from those of Cakewalk Next.
