What it does
Calamari combines leave management with optional attendance, employee information, performance and scheduling tools. Policies restrict request timing, duration and staff overlap, with explanations shown to employees. A fourteen-day trial is available.
Set rules for each absence type and employee group. Calamari can check advance notice, retrospective requests, duration and whether a proposed substitute is available. Choose a block to prevent submission or a warning that lets the request reach its manager with a policy alert. Employees see the rule involved. Policy changes normally affect future requests, preserving the history unless you choose otherwise.
Selectable modules
| Module | Main use |
|---|---|
| Time Off | Leave balances, policies and approvals |
| Time & Attendance | Working-time records and timesheets |
| Core HR | Employee information and permissions |
| Performance Review | Questionnaires, review participants and summaries |
| Scheduling | Draft and published staff schedules |
Pay monthly or annually for selected modules, with a ten-seat minimum. Active administrators and managers count; archived staff do not. Seat reductions wait until renewal. Larger-team setup and imports may cost extra.
All modules can be tried for fourteen days without a card or automatic charge. Invite employees from Configuration, People using the envelope icon. Their fourteen-day invitation sets a password or uses an enabled workplace login.
