Caseware

Caseware places audit and financial-reporting work inside an engagement workflow. Choose the product and regional methodology that match your practice; the product hub includes cloud audit applications as well as desktop tools.

Verity for Excel is useful when the audit work ends in a spreadsheet. A firm administrator must enable Cloud Connector and assign a Verity licence to your account. Open the workbook from its Caseware Cloud engagement, choose Home > Data Link, then the Caseware Verity tab. Describe the schedule or check you need, review the proposed figures and approve the changes you want written to the sheet. Opening a local workbook alone does not connect it to an engagement. Verity can use only the engagement that workbook came from, and it cannot alter other engagement documents.

For firms moving from Working Papers, CloudBridge transfers selected engagements into matching cloud entities. Review the file summary, run the migration and check the completion receipt and log. It supports trial balances of up to 30,000 lines per engagement, but leaves out CaseView files, macros, formulas and linked external documents. The desktop and cloud copies do not stay synchronized.

A new Cloud licence is purchased through Caseware sales. Existing administrators can see available additional licences and prices in MyCaseware's Catalog. Each app licence adds access for a user; renewals go through sales. Confirm the regional product, user count and any Verity or connector licences in the quotation.
