What it does

Cashflow Manager provides bookkeeping software for Australian small businesses. Its rows-and-columns interface records financial transactions, with quotes, invoices, expenses, bank feeds and reporting.

Cashflow Manager uses rows and columns for financial transactions. Enter income and expenses, reconcile the bank account, then use the accumulated records for BAS and tax reports. Quotes and invoices provide the customer-facing documents, with layouts that can be adjusted for the business. The software supports offline bookkeeping.

The base Cashflow Manager subscription is AUD 28 per month with a minimum 12-month term. It includes unlimited income and expense records, quotes and invoices. Gold is AUD 51 monthly on the same minimum term and adds unlimited-employee Single Touch Payroll, inventory, suppliers, assets and loans. Automatic bank feeds add AUD 5 per month to either bookkeeping package.

The 30-day Gold trial requires no credit card. Its registration form asks for a name, email, mobile number and business name; an ABN is optional. Use a few representative transactions and a bank reconciliation to see whether the tabular approach fits how you keep records. The product is now part of Reckon, while retaining the Cashflow Manager name and its own offer.
