What it does
Pocket Paint is Catrobat's Android editor for drawing and modifying images. It supports transparent graphics for Pocket Code as well as standalone illustration work.
A small game character can combine geometric shapes with brushwork, using the pipette to reuse colours and RGBa values to set colour and transparency. Layers can be reordered or merged, and the canvas zooms to individual pixels for edge corrections.
Choose the file for its next use
Save as PNG when transparent areas need to survive, JPEG for a compressed image, or OpenRaster when the layers need to remain available. Images are saved to Photos and Gallery. Pocket Code can also receive the result as a character or background.
The app is free and its Paintroid code project is primarily licensed under AGPL version 3. That software licence is separate from permission to reuse a borrowed sticker or media-library image.
