What it does
Centage combines budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning and consolidation with financial-data connections. The cloud software is configured around a company's accounts and approval process, with optional analyst support alongside the subscription.
Centage configures its planning platform around a company's chart of accounts, cost centres, approval chain and fiscal calendar. Accounting, payroll and sales-system data feed budgets and forecasts. Workforce planning can model positions, pay rules and benefits, while multi-entity work includes currencies and intercompany eliminations.
A finance team can build a base plan, change hiring or revenue assumptions and compare the resulting scenarios side by side. The selected scenario can then be merged into the forecast. In Worksheets, revenue, operating costs and personnel have separate planning areas; Drivers supplies calculations used by the other areas. This is useful when changing a hiring assumption should affect both payroll and the wider financial plan.
Onboarding sets up the administrator account, imports company data and trains the team. Administrators control module access through user groups. A person in several groups receives the highest permission level granted by any of them, so review overlapping memberships when restricting payroll information.
Software starts at $699 per month, with the quote based on entities, chart-of-accounts size and users. Standard installation and onboarding are included, and annual plans have no setup fee. Bespoke configuration is quoted separately. Optional financial planning and analysis (FP&A) services add help from analysts.
