What it does
CenterPoint Securities serves active traders with platform access, execution routing and securities-lending support. Charts can display orders and use adjustable indicators, while multiple routes provide different execution and rebate arrangements. Share-locate services are a separate part of the account workflow.
CenterPoint lets users customize layouts, chart styles and indicator settings, with Level 2 quotes and streaming time-and-sales data. Its platform page offers Take a test drive. Before comparing a desktop or browser setup, list the data feeds, routing choices and locate services the workflow requires.
Published equity commissions start at US$0.003 per share below 500,000 monthly shares, before routing and regulatory fees. Higher-volume schedules exist, but the initial agreed rate remains in place unless renegotiated.
CenterPoint Pro costs US$120 monthly including mobile access; the fee is waived at 250,000 shares or 1,000 options contracts per month. CenterPoint Web costs US$20 monthly, with a US$25 mobile add-on; its platform waiver threshold is 20,000 shares or 100 contracts. Market-data packages are separate.
Foreign applications are reviewed individually. The application route requests signed forms, W-8BEN, passports for account owners and address documents. A typed signature is not accepted without digital verification. Confirm the account’s acceptance and borrowing arrangement before relying on a particular route or short-sale locate.
