Changelly obtains exchange liquidity through partner trading platforms and delivers the converted asset to a wallet. Its navigation separates crypto exchange from fiat purchase and sale services, which involve different providers and charges. Changelly PRO is a separate trading product.

Setting up an exchange

Choose the pair and fixed or floating rate, then use Exchange Now. Transaction Details shows the expected result, charges and timing. Enter the receiving address and, for a fixed-rate transaction, the refund address. After Next Step, review the network before Confirm and make payment.

Send the requested amount to that order’s deposit address within the displayed deadline. A destination tag or memo is needed when the receiving wallet requires one. A missed deadline, wrong network or incorrect amount can prevent normal completion. Delivery follows processing, so the initial estimate is not a guarantee.

Floating-rate crypto exchanges carry a 0.25% service fee plus network costs. Fixed-rate fees vary and are included in the offered rate. Fiat purchases and sales use their provider’s pricing.

Accounts and availability

The mobile app permits swaps without login; in that mode, history remains on the device. An email or Google account adds account history and support context. Identity or funding-origin checks can be requested during a transaction.

Changelly sets an age threshold of 16, subject to the legal age required locally. Its restricted list also includes Austria, Hong Kong, Japan and Turkey, among other jurisdictions. Opening the site alone does not establish eligibility. Crypto price changes and transaction errors can cause losses.

Businesses can integrate a crypto Exchange API or a separate decentralized-swap interface, rather than using the consumer form for every order.
