What it does

Channable prepares product data for marketplace listings and advertising feeds. Merchants create an account and organize each webshop or market in a project. Its unlimited-duration trial allows preparation, while live channel publication requires a paid subscription.

Review imported items before setting up a channel. Under Channels, choose the destination, then work through categories, rules, attribute mapping, quality checks and preview. Marketplace connections also return results and feedback to inspect.

Subscriptions combine a catalog-capacity package, a Core level and optional modules. Examples of the business packages are:

Package Items Projects Channels
Small 500 1 3
Medium 5,000 2 6
Large 15,000 3 15
XL 30,000 5 30
XXL 100,000 15 75

Each imported size, color or language variant counts as an item, including products you do not advertise. A channel's target country is fixed; selling through the same marketplace in another country needs another channel. Larger enterprise packages are available.

To go live, complete Company settings > Billing, select your package and modules under Plans and Pricing, then Complete subscription. Open the project's Settings > Project settings and select Activate project. For a feed, use Preview & export > Activate feed; marketplace channels use Settings > Activate API. Shopify customers approve billing through Shopify.

Strengths

  • Imports accept platform data, XML files and Google Sheets
  • Marketplace channels return listing results and errors for review

Watch out for

  • A trial setup cannot send live product data without a confirmed subscription

Best for

  • Merchants adapting a catalog to several marketplaces or language markets
