What it does

Chargily offers an online payment gateway, merchant terminals and separate mobile-credit or voucher distribution services. Chargily Pay accepts Algerian CIB and EDAHABIA cards through store integrations or shared payment links. A verified account is required, with an introductory collection allowance followed by transaction-based plans.

For a remote order, open Liens de paiement, the payment-links section of the dashboard. Add the amount, description and customer name, then select Générer le lien to generate the address. Share it by email, SMS or a sales channel. The customer opens the payment page, and the resulting transaction can be followed in the merchant account. Links can also be deactivated from the dashboard.

Chargily Pay charges

The Algerian schedule uses dinars, DZD:

Plan Collection charge Balance hold Included monthly payouts
Starter 0% until 300 transactions or DZD300,000 collected Not specified Not specified
Comfort 1.5%, minimum DZD15, maximum DZD1,500 72 hours 1
Supreme 3%, minimum DZD30, maximum DZD3,000 48 hours 2
Elite 4.5%, minimum DZD45, maximum DZD4,500 24 hours 4

Starter is an introductory allowance for new accounts. Reaching either limit requires choosing a paid plan. There is no subscription or activation fee. Additional withdrawals cost 1.5%, minimum DZD150, after the monthly allowance. Refunds cost 2%, minimum DZD20 and maximum DZD2,000 on every plan.

Register the merchant profile and submit the verification form; Chargily emails the result. For a website, retrieve the software-integration keys from Developers Corner, then use the application programming interface, or API, or a ready-made plugin such as WooCommerce. Physical shops use the separate terminal service, while airtime resellers use Chargily Pro.

Strengths

  • Chargily supports terminal installation and maintenance for physical stores
  • Pro resellers can distribute airtime and vouchers through an app, Telegram bot or API

Watch out for

  • Visa and Mastercard acceptance is still described as coming soon

Best for

  • Algerian sellers collecting remote orders without a webshop
  • Developers adding local card acceptance to ecommerce
