What it does

Checkout.com offers payment processing, hosted checkout pages, payment links and mobile payment components for online businesses. Flow lets a team adjust the checkout appearance and enable local payment methods through configuration. Business verification and country-specific terms apply, with pricing tailored to the merchant.

The product catalogue distinguishes a Hosted Payment Page from Flow components and mobile software development kits. A hosted page lives on Checkout.com's infrastructure and can use your logo and colors. Flow puts configurable payment components in a website or app, with controls for fonts, borders, language and which payment methods appear.

For example, a retailer adding a new market can configure a suitable local method instead of building an entirely separate payment form. Flow chooses methods using details such as currency, location and device. Its Remember Me option saves card details for returning shoppers; it currently applies to card payments. Standalone Flow, which works with other processors, is labelled as a beta product.

Commercial access

Pricing is tailored to the business profile and risk category. Checkout.com offers flat-rate pricing or interchange++ arrangements that separate card-association, processor and interchange charges. It lists no setup or account-maintenance fees. A free-processing offer for registered charities has country conditions: the UAE terms explicitly exclude charities, sole traders and micro-enterprises.

To apply, use Get in touch and supply the business's legal and trading names, registration details, address, bank information, websites and main customer markets. Verification also covers relevant owners, directors or representatives, depending on the jurisdiction. The service has country-specific contracts, including UK, European and UAE arrangements; products and methods differ by country.

The Dashboard brings payment history and analytics together with balances across incoming and outgoing payments. Developers can connect through a unified application programming interface (API). Confirm the merchant entity and settlement currency in the application, since accepting a customer's currency does not establish that a business in that country can open an account.
