What it does
Chefkoch is a German-language cooking and baking platform with recipe collections, videos and seasonal browsing. It spans everyday food, vegetarian and vegan meals, international dishes and a separately promoted Plus planning offering.
Use a collection when you have a practical constraint: freezer-friendly pasta, inexpensive soups or sheet-pan cooking give a shorter route than the full recipe feed. Individual cards show a preparation time and difficulty label, while community collections gather recipes around a theme. Baking and savory meals both have substantial representation.
The site also promotes cooking courses and Plus material, including a weekly planner. Their access should be distinguished from choosing a recipe in the main archive. Branded partner recipes appear alongside other contributions, so check the contributor and full ingredients when opening a dish. German is the working language for the main platform.
The Plus FAQ says existing free content stays free. Plus offers monthly and annual subscriptions; its introductory free week is limited to a first annual subscription, with no trial on the monthly option. An annual plan renews for another year unless cancelled, and subscriptions can be managed in the web profile.
