What it does
Circuit Digest’s calculator collection covers component values, op-amp gain, timing circuits, power, batteries and related electrical quantities.
Circuit Digest groups component, power and timing calculations beside electronics articles. Its 555 astable worksheet takes R1, R2 and C with unit selectors and returns frequency, period, duty cycle and high/low times. Resistance uses Ω/kΩ/MΩ and capacitance µF/nF; the base equations use ohms and farads. Astable mode generates continuous pulses, while its separate monostable tool handles one-shot timing.
The FAQ gives the grouped frequency equation and duty as high time divided by period, with a conventional minimum around 50%. The article's earlier frequency notation and one worked duty substitution conflict with those equations. The deployed worksheet rules use the grouped relationship, but the printed worked example needs care. This source inspection does not establish physical circuit performance or independently tested calculator accuracy.
