What it does
ClawApp is a Mac app for building and running always-on AI agents. Each agent gets its own models, skills, tools, and access controls. Models include GPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok through a Sahara AI endpoint, or you can connect your own OpenAI or Anthropic compatible provider or run local models through Ollama. You can import Claude skills as .md files or create new ones in the app. Agents can be given schedules so they run on their own, and delivery can go to messaging apps such as Telegram. The app is free to download.
Agents are configured from one dashboard covering models, skills, tools, MCP servers, and permissions. Access can be limited with allow and deny lists, and any capability can be turned off in one click. Scheduling examples shown on the site include a daily 7am briefing delivered to Telegram, market monitoring every 30 minutes, weekly recurring research, and hourly onchain activity analysis. Hosting is described as having no prompt retention, with a fully local option through Ollama. A staking credits feature for $SAHARA is listed as coming soon, and agent payments use USD1 through a connected crypto wallet. Download links point to the Mac app release page and a GitHub release.
