ClearVPN

ClearVPN puts task-oriented location choice ahead of protocol tuning. Its page describes selecting a country or city and sorting locations with tags for different needs, while the app chooses connection protocols. That can suit someone who wants a simpler setup than managing configuration files. Review the proposed location rather than assuming a location label guarantees access to a particular website. ClearVPN is MacPaw's VPN product, separate from its other maintenance apps.

ClearVPN's notice excludes browsing history, connection timestamps, IP addresses and session or traffic logs from collection. It still describes technical identifiers, country-level location and app/device information for operation and support. That country information helps choose presets; it is a different category from a history of the sites you visit.
