What it does
Cloaked creates masked email addresses and phone numbers for separate online identities. Its broader service also includes credential storage, data-removal and other privacy features.
Cloaked groups masked email addresses and phone numbers into identities with dedicated inboxes. Its browser extension and dashboard manage those identities, while the mobile guide lists Android 8 or later and iOS 16 or later for users located in the US or Canada.
Cloaked Pay is a separate eligibility decision within the subscription. The current guide limits it to US citizens aged 18 or over who reside in the US, pass identity verification and receive access through the limited rollout/waitlist. Funding needs a US-issued card or bank account. Those requirements should be distinguished from the email-masking workflow.
Strengths
- Masked email and phone details can be grouped under an identity.
- Dedicated inboxes accompany the masked contact details.
Best for
- People who want email masking as part of managing separate online identities
