What it does
proselint is a command-line checker for English prose that reports writing suggestions with file, line and column locations.
Run proselint check on a prose file to get suggestions with file, line, column, check name and message. The official mirror also documents structured JSON diagnostics and a first-found configuration search, with built-in defaults when no configuration is supplied. Select the checks and maximum results for the review; the documented default maximum is 1,000 results. Inspect each flag in context, especially deliberate or quoted wording. Match command-line examples to the installed release. The maintainer identifies Codeberg as the primary repository and GitHub as its mirror.
