What it does
Codepoints is a Unicode character finder with text search, property-based filtering and a guided character-identification wizard.
Paste a character into Codepoints to open its description, or search by name and Unicode properties when you cannot type it. The guided wizard narrows a character through questions; a direct range URL helps inspect a known block. Compare the codepoint and properties rather than relying only on how a glyph looks, since glyphs vary between fonts. The site displays Unicode 16.0.0 and identifies itself as an independent project. For a normative definition, follow the Unicode reference. The site’s own code is dual-licensed GPL/MIT, while Unicode data and other contributed content have separate reuse terms.
