What it does

Coin360 turns cryptocurrency market data into interactive colored blocks. Block size represents market share, while color shows price movement over the selected period. The public heatmap, tables and asset pages let visitors explore the market without signing in.

A large red block and a small bright-green block convey two different things. On Coin360's coin heatmap, block size follows market capitalization. Green means the price increased, red means it decreased, and gray means it was unchanged. Color is therefore not a measure of how large a cryptocurrency is.

Choose the time period before reading the map. Then use Coins or Exchanges, adjust Filters and open a block for its price, volume, market cap and chart. Reset returns the view to its starting settings, while Share Map provides a way to share the selected view. A table layout offers a more familiar route for comparing figures.

The exchange map uses trading volume for its block measurements. Do not read those blocks as if they were coin market-cap rankings. Watchlists and global charts provide additional ways to focus on selected assets or the wider market.

What the displayed price means

Coin360 aggregates market observations rather than showing a single executable exchange quote. Its methodology describes volume-weighted prices and filters out stale prices that have not updated for 24 hours. A price from one trading venue can consequently differ from the combined value on the map.

The public visualization is accessible without a subscription or an account. It is most useful for finding a market pattern to inspect more closely; the underlying chart and chosen period matter more than color alone.

Strengths

  • Size and color show market share and price direction in the same view.
  • Coin, exchange and table views support different comparisons.

Watch out for

  • Coin and exchange blocks use different underlying size measurements.
  • Aggregated prices can differ from a quote on a specific exchange.

Best for

  • Visitors wanting a visual overview of crypto market movements
  • People comparing selected assets over the same time period
