What it does
CoinJar Australia supports crypto buying, selling and conversion, recurring purchases and grouped asset Bundles. A separate CoinJar Exchange interface has its own maker and taker fees. Australian verification accepts citizens or valid visa holders and requires identity documents.
Recurring Buy can run weekly, fortnightly or monthly, with adjustable amounts and the option to pause. A Bundle groups selected holdings; its allocation is separate from the purchase schedule. These tools suit someone who wants to manage several assets together without manually repeating each purchase. They do not prevent investment losses.
The ordinary CoinJar fee table charges 1% for fiat-to-crypto, crypto-to-fiat and crypto-to-crypto conversions. Single purchases with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay cost 2%. The listed card-funded Recurring Buy rate is 1%.
CoinJar Exchange has different pricing: AUD, USD and GBP pairs start at 0.10% maker and taker fees, with volume discounts. Some stablecoin and crypto pair categories have zero maker fees, so the pair and interface both matter.
AUD PayID and bank transfers have no deposit fee. Check the displayed charge before funding the account.
Applicants must be at least 18. For Australian verification, use an accepted passport or Australian driving licence; digital licences and photo ID cards are not accepted. Verification can begin in the web browser or mobile app.
