What it does
Capsa is Colasoft's network protocol and performance analyzer with packet-capture and diagnostic views, offered in free and Enterprise forms.
Capture at a suitable adapter, then use Capsa’s protocol, host and conversation views to investigate the traffic present there. Packet decoding and flow analysis help when a bandwidth total cannot explain an exchange. The edition limits are substantial: the comparison caps Free at 10 monitored IP addresses and four-hour sessions, and lists no Wi-Fi monitoring, data export, log output or saved reports for Free. Enterprise offers a 30-day trial and broader capture/reporting features. The product page lists 64-bit Windows systems, including Windows 10/11, with compatible Ethernet or tested wireless adapters. An adapter capture still depends on traffic reaching that observation point.
