What it does
ColorCombos connects colour-family browsing with palette previews and text/background checks. Its Combo Maker presents colours on objects and shapes, while the image extractor produces hex values that can move into the same workflow.
For a presentation sheet, drag the colours into order in Combo Maker and choose a preview such as pencils, balloons or squares. Background, transparency, size, alternating mirroring and outline controls change the arrangement. Copy Link shares the current combination; the Save action is labelled Sign up to Save.
The separate Font Color Tester accepts text and background hex values, sample wording, font size and output dimensions. Swap reverses foreground and background. Save PNG exports the text sample, and Link shares it. Its WCAG results are accessibility contrast ratings for normal and large text, with AA and AAA levels. This tester is explicitly free.
For colours from a photo, use the extractor’s upload, drop or paste input. Copy Colors takes the values, Download CSV creates a table, and Combo Maker passes the palette to the preview tool.
The site terms grant personal, non-commercial website use. They separately say that generated colour schemes are provided for users’ use, while retaining rights in the underlying tools and design elements; this is not a blanket licence to reproduce the website’s artwork.
