What it does
Comics Plus supplies digital graphic novels, manga and picture books through institutions. Its model offers simultaneous access without holds or monthly borrowing limits.
Begin with the login supplied by your library, school or institution. Depending on its arrangement, this may be a library card, school credentials or an institution-provided account. The reader service is free through participating institutions.
Simultaneous access lets a group read the same comic without a hold queue, and the mobile app supports offline reading. The institution can manage its age-based collection options, so another school or library’s catalogue does not establish what your account includes.
Strengths
- Simultaneous institutional reading
- No stated holds or monthly borrowing limits
Watch out for
- Reader access depends on a participating institution
Best for
- Shared comic reading through a library or school
