What it does
Commence is a CRM for accounts, contacts, leads and sales opportunities. Its sales tracking tools connect interaction history, follow-up activities, quotes and pipeline reports.
Use a Commence opportunity to keep the proposed sale and its follow-up together. Schedule an activity or appointment, retain emails and documents in the sales history, and attach the quote to the account or opportunity. The next action then sits beside the proposal being discussed.
The graphical pipeline shows deal progress. The report generator provides a closer look at the underlying information, while separate pipelines can follow different product lines or teams.
Three core editions
| Edition | Selected scope |
|---|---|
| Essentials CRM | Accounts, contacts and leads |
| Sales CRM | Opportunity and pipeline management |
| Enterprise CRM | Quotes, pricebook, custom reporting and workflows |
The published per-user subscriptions bill annually and require at least three users. Marketing, projects and customer service have separate packages. Get Started opens an enquiry route for access; include the quote and follow-up process the team needs when discussing the edition.
