What it does

The Component Gallery is a reference collection of interface components drawn from design systems. It groups related names and examples for controls such as accordions, popovers, tables and navigation.

Choose a component, such as Accordion, to see its alternative names and examples from different design systems. Under Filter, select a technology and a feature, such as React and usage guidelines. You can sort by design-system name or component name and use Copy URLs to collect links for a comparison.

The component pages also explain implementation choices. The accordion guide compares a custom heading-and-button structure with native details and summary elements, including the state and keyboard behavior a custom version needs. Follow an example’s link for the original system’s full guidance.

The gallery is free to use without an account. It is a reference library: most listed components are not ready-to-install packages.

Strengths

  • Related names make component terminology easier to compare.
  • Feature filters include unmaintained projects and known accessibility issues.

Watch out for

  • Most examples require adaptation rather than direct installation.

Best for

  • Teams defining the scope and vocabulary of shared components
