What it does

SAP Concur connects expense reports, receipt capture, spending policies and travel information, with integrations for financial systems. Company accounts use configured approval rules, with pricing tied to report volume and monthly commitments.

SAP Concur captures receipts and turns them into expense reports checked against company spending policies. Travel booking and invoice processing are related services. Connectors and APIs carry the resulting information to financial systems.

Build a report around the actual expenses

After signing in, open Expense, then Manage Expenses, and create a report. Complete the required fields, which depend on the employer's configuration. Add available corporate-card transactions or enter an out-of-pocket expense with its expense type, details and receipt.

A useful check when entering several expenses: the transaction date can carry over from the previous entry. Correct it before saving. Resolve red alerts and attach the relevant receipt images. A draft can be built over several days before selecting Submit Report.

Submitted reports cannot normally be edited in place. Recall the report, make the changes and submit it again. If the employer has disabled recall, ask the manager or expense processor to return it. Receipt attachment while approval is pending can also depend on company settings.

Report-based pricing

Package Starting price Included scope
Base $7 per report Concur Expense, unlimited users
Plus $11 per report Adds ExpenseIt, user support and reporting
Premium Quote Broader expense, travel and reporting bundle

The starting amounts depend on report volume and the monthly commitment. Additional services can change the quote. A per-report figure is therefore not the same as a flat monthly bill.

Concur suits organizations that need employees, approvers and finance staff to work on the same expense record. The employer controls required fields and approval rules, so an employee's screen may differ from another company's setup.
