What it does

Conekta provides Mexican businesses with hosted checkout, payment links, recurring collections and ecommerce integrations. Buyers can pay through cards, bank transfers or participating cash-payment locations. Account creation is free, but live collections require approval and incur transaction fees.

A link can collect one payment, accept repeated purchases at the same price, start a subscription or let the payer enter an amount. Create it from the Panel or through the application programming interface, or API. Set what is being sold, the permitted methods, expiry, number of payments and customer details to collect. Add the business colours and logo, then share the address. Reports and payment status remain in the Panel.

For transfers, Conekta provides a unique Mexican bank-account reference, or CLABE, for the collection. Follow the resulting payment status before treating the order as paid. A cash-payment request also depends on the customer completing the payment at a participating location.

Standard Mexican charges

Method Published fee before VAT
Cards From 3.4% + MXN3
Conekta Efectivo for ordinary businesses 2.6% + MXN3, minimum MXN5.40
Conekta Efectivo for financial or insurance businesses MXN16
Bank transfer From MXN12.50

Enterprise volume pricing is negotiated. Only successful collections are charged, and links have no monthly commission. Installment offers add a bank surcharge. Confirm the authentication charges included in the selected arrangement.

Before the first live collection, the Panel must show an approved account, a validated settlement bank account and the desired methods enabled. The test environment can be used while preparing the setup. Also check the business name shown on the buyer's card statement so the charge is recognisable.
