What it does
Contentsquare combines session replay, heatmaps, journeys, funnels, surveys and product analytics. Its Experience Analytics plans start with a permanent free tier, while the broader Experience Platform offers custom packages for complex customer journeys, technical monitoring and AI-assisted analysis.
Contentsquare’s heatmaps show engagement with page elements, while journeys and session replay help examine the route visitors took. The platform also brings in errors, performance and direct feedback, giving teams several ways to investigate a difficult checkout, application or onboarding process.
Experience Analytics Free includes one project and up to 200,000 monthly analytics sessions. Replay captures 5% of sessions, capped at 10,000, with one month of access. That distinction matters: the analytics allowance is larger than the number of sessions available to watch. The free feedback offering allows three surveys or widgets and 100 monthly responses.
Growth adds three projects, journey analysis and zone-based heatmaps, with 13 months of analytics access. Published pricing starts at USD 49 monthly or USD 39 per month with annual payment for customers outside Europe; European Growth customers are billed in euros. Session allowances are shared across an account’s projects, and collection stops at the plan limit until the monthly reset or an upgrade.
Register through Start for free. New accounts receive a 15-day Growth trial without payment details, then can keep the free options or choose a subscription. Pro and Enterprise require a quote. Check which product the quote covers: Experience Platform packages differ from the Experience Analytics comparison, especially for AI analysis, conversation tools and advanced monitoring.
