CONTPAQi Accounting

Choose the deployment before setting up the books. CONTPAQi has a Windows desktop edition and a cloud edition accessed by invitation. Their plans and available features differ.

Enter a cloud journal with its supporting documents

In the cloud journal interface, open Operación diaria → Pólizas → Nueva póliza. Choosing a document type suggests a journal type; for example, Compras, gastos e inversiones suggests Diario, which you can change.

Enter the date and header, then use Guardar póliza (F8) to open the line-entry window. Associate a supporting document, choose the ledger account and fill the amount. Clicking the document total can copy it into the selected amount field. Save the line and continue with the other entries.

Associations carry forward to the next line. If a document was attached incorrectly, Limpiar asociación y agregar removes the previous links before adding another document. Agregar documento keeps the existing links and adds another.

Closing an unbalanced journal triggers a warning, unless a balancing account has been configured. With that setting, CONTPAQi adds a balancing line that you must later assign to the correct ledger account.

A desktop trial lasts thirty days. The cloud trial lasts twenty days and permits 1,000 documents, one company and one user. Request the appropriate licence through CONTPAQi or an authorised distributor.
