What it does
ConvertAll combines unit names into custom expressions for conversion. The project provides installed and web versions and supports compound units, exponents, and related number-conversion tools.
Select compatible From and To units, then enter a value on either side for the reverse result. Compound units use multiplication, division and powers; multiplication/division evaluate left to right, with parentheses grouping a denominator. Nonlinear units such as Celsius, Fahrenheit and wire gauges must stand alone, without powers or combinations. Numeric inputs can be expressions, while separate tools handle number bases and decimal-to-fraction alternatives. Result formatting defaults to eight decimal places; reducing that can hide precision. ConvertAll's GPL2 project offers Windows, Linux, Android and web routes; older translated releases have a different framework lineage.
