What it does
Convertio is an online converter for documents, media, archives, fonts, and ebooks. Many operations expose additional settings, and a separate API supports automated conversion.
After selecting a target video format, look at its quality, codec, and aspect-ratio settings before starting the conversion. Those choices affect the output more directly than changing an extension. Convertio performs the conversion in its cloud service, rather than using the browser only as a local desktop converter. The supported-format catalogue is the right place to confirm a less common input.
There is a free tier, while subscriptions allocate conversion credits according to server work. The Lite, Basic and Pro tables list 1 GB, 3 GB and 10 GB file caps respectively. A 1 GB label on the converter alone should not be read as a verified free allowance. Convertio says input files are deleted after processing and outputs after 24 hours, so download the result before that window closes.
